I don’t. Sure, I get that not every site has the means to get media accreditation because they don’t generate enough traffic, or because they lack the budget, but that is no reason to start stealing quotes. GPFans and GPBlog aren’t around because they want to bring us F1 news, they are only interested in generating as much clicks and ad revenue as humanly possible, even if that means stealing quotes and content from others.

If you want to be a proper journalist within the world of F1, you can. I think RaceFans’s Keith Collantine is a perfect example of what can be achieved if you put a lot of time, effort and passion into it. He also started out people at the races, but instead of blatantly stealing other people’s work, he distinguished himself by writing proper quality pieces, up to the point where he was able to sign Dieter Rencken and have someone at the races.
