[OT] Aston Martin to run 4 Valkryie’s in WEC hypercar class.

Gonna be in a bit of a pickle with regards to drivers considering that a lot of their works drivers have little to no experience with prototypes. Going to have to look elsewhere most likely.

Brendon Hartley jumped straight from single seater to prototype. Sebastian Buemi did the same. Kobayashi jumped straight into the front running Toyota after an entire career of racing single seaters. Paul di Resta currently races DTM and LMP2, after having raced sports cars as well.

There’s plenty of drivers up & down the WEC grid who have raced single seaters, GT’s, prototypes. Some of them back & fourth between the three.

Aston has two great works drivers in the likes of Thiim and Sorensen. Darren Turner and Jonny Adam are two very experienced drivers, and they have a few young guys coming up too. So they have options.
