Exactly. Anyone can watch highlights from season 2009, 2010 and 2012. Each time he had best car, but not absolutely dominant like in 2011 and 2013, he shown his weakness.
Just in 2010 he had so many mistakes that, if he had this years car, it would be season every bit as bad as it is this one is and people would be wondering what the hell is up with this guy.
To take 70% of poles, have best aero and most efficient engine and still take it to last race against that Ferrari (which was, mind you best in Alonso era) is frankly staggering.
