The start times for Formula 1 races were moved to 10 minutes past the three in the UK in 2018. This was done in order so that F1 could take advantage of that 10-minute slot to use it as a preview and gain greater viewership. It seems like the plan has not worked out as it should as F1 is returning to its previous time slot.

Therefore, Formula 1 will start at the full hour next time around but that is not all. It was also reported that F1 would like to return to its usual spot an hour earlier, that is one o’clock in the UK and two o’clock for the European fans. This is yet to be confirmed among the teams, but no greater resistance is expected.
