Somewhat yes, but if you see the Verstappen/Gasly or Russell/Kubica stats you can see a clear difference. So it can be used as an indicator of race pace, but the context is important.
Norris is doing well for a rookie man. But Sainz really shows how good he is with the number of points he’s gotten. Sainz is just having a great year this time.
Best teammate combination on the grid and we can see that McLaren recognizes that as well.
They’re my team to watch for next season.
